QUEBEC DEER HUNTS

The Hunt:

Our whitetail deer hunts take place in the southern forests of Quebec.  We are about an hour and ½ north of Ottawa and offer a full service lodge and over 30 square miles of hunting territory.  Our area is a mixture of old farm steads, and thick forest which makes for ideal whitetail habitat.  Our deer herd has been steadily growing over the past 10 years to the point to where we are almost over populated.  We offer archery, muzzleloader and rifle hunts.  Archery is generally late September and then is followed by muzzleloader, generally mid-October and rifle first part of November.  Please call for current season dates. Baiting is legal in Quebec and hunts will be conducted from stands over bait.  For our archery clients we generally use the traditional metal ladder stands and for muzzleloader and rifle, we have covered shooting houses and various wooded stands.  Hunt package does not include meals but we do have a meal plan that can be added.  We also have 3 self-catering cabins with complete kitchen facilities if you prefer to do your own cooking.  Success rates are extremely high with over 90% opportunities at decent bucks.

Costt: $1095, add meal plan $250 per week

Duration: 1 week, Saturday to Saturday

When: September to November, exact dates depend upon weapon used

Location: Danford Lake Quebec ( 1 ½  hours from Ottawa)
